Tribal Youth Education Program.

About TYEP:

The Tribal Youth Education Program was created and implemented in the Fall of 2005 to address and identify educational issues affecting local American Indian youth in kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Students need community support. Direct Services and outreach are essential to address things such as low academic performance and attendance problems. TYEP also helps to increase student retention and graduation rate, as well as preparation for college.

The Tribal Youth Education Program shall be responsible to the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes and the membership in its duty to deliver services to help youth attain measurable outcomes.
